Tasks

• Delegated authority to approve lending submissions
• Directly manage a portfolio of client accounts within a defined area, including but not limited to monitoring the arrears management, annual client reviews, property valuation and total financial care
• Responsible for lending submissions, preparation and administration
• May have some responsibility for analyst support staff
• Execute and monitor the results of the established business and marketing plans set by the manager
• Identify and pursue new portfolio growth opportunities
• Assist in establishing regional lending targets
• Maintain compliance with both established credit policies and prudent credit practices
• Ensure tight control over expenses
• Directly manage a portfolio of client accounts within a defined area
• Conduct annual reviews, new lending interviews, valuation reviews, and cross sell opportunities for portfolio
• Assist in the preparation of lending submissions, preparation and administration
• Provide strong local knowledge to ensure the company is able to meet changing needs of clients
• May have some responsibility for analyst support staff
• Execute and monitor the results of the established business and marketing plans set by the manager
• Identify and pursue new portfolio growth opportunities
• Maintain compliance with both established credit policies and prudent credit practices.

For this Position, the skills required to perform this role would have be developed through a combination of experience in a related role (unless the position is a graduate position) as well as a Tertiary Qualification in Science, Humanities or Commerce.
