Forestry Researcher
Perform analysis and research to assist in development and management of forestry plantations.
Tasks
- Perform research and demonstration for establishment, maintenance, quality and efficiency of forestry plantations
- Collect, analyse and report findings
- Conduct operational research into irrigation, weed control, soil, timber and plantation activity
- Record accurately all trial data for communication to key stakeholders
- Control direct costs associated with project based research and field activities
- Undertake necessary training and development to ensure a safe and productive work environment
- Operate machinery when required
