Leadership Great South Coast (LGSC) provides an annual community leadership program for aspiring and emerging leaders drawn from all sectors of the Great South Coast region.

The LGSC Program builds relationships and networks between the business, community and government sectors.

LGSC participants are drawn from all three sectors, allowing participants to benefit from a variety of perspectives when considering the nature of leadership and the future of our community and its economic prosperity.

  • LGSC is actively seeking applicants from a range of diverse backgrounds including and not limited to
    professions, ages, ethnicity and, geographical distribution. In addition, LGSC is looking for a range of
    personal experience, leadership potential and personal attributed amongst the participants.
    People from 21 years onwards, with a demonstrated interest in contributing to the community and
    developing leadership skills are encouraged to apply for the Program.
    Candidates should have:
    • Ability to engage as an active learner
    • Proven leadership record OR aspirations with potential for further growth in your chosen
    sector – community organisations, academia, industry, business, or government
    • Committed to community activity and volunteerism in the Great South Coast community
    • Capacity to commit time and energy to the program
    • Potential to volunteer and give back to your local community in the future
